WHAT IS ACCA?

The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) is a professional accounting organization established in the United Kingdom. It is quickly expanding in the subject of accounting. CAN ANYONE DO ACCA WITH B.Com?

Yes, one is advised to pursue ACCA with B.Com, because of many following factors:

  1. Exemption of papers: The ACCA course has a total of 13 exams. If any aspirant is a B.Com graduate then ACCA Knowledge level exams like Business & Technology (BT), Management Accounting (MA),  Financial Accounting (FA), Corporate and Business Law (LW), and Taxation (TX) are exempted.

NOTE: if one has already registered for a number of papers in ACCA in the Knowledge and Skill level then you can step out of those papers at any time if you are pursuing B.com and the exemption fee will be delivered to you. 

B.com has many papers similar to that of ACCA, which helps the aspirant to gain full knowledge of ACCA course in a short duration. 

  1. Duration of course: the duration of the ACCA course is 2-3 years when pursued after B.com which is of 3 years, will take a total of 3 years to complete. In these 3  years of ACCA, one is required to include training experience. While doing ACCA with B.com one can save up to 2-3 academic years through which the aspirant can enter the international market sooner.
